A Conversation With: CFRB PD Mike Bendixen

In this wide ranging interview, that includes a few f-bombs, CFRB Program Director Mike Bendixen opens up about how he stumbled into radio by accident, why CFRB's morning show surprisingly never had a producer for years after the format change, the difference in the place under the Slaights and Bell, how a tsunami on the other side of the world altered his career, his time running CJAD as a 26-year-old, and why he wishes John Tory was still on the air.

Isn't it interesting that, when 640 "refreshed" their brand, they killed bumper music (with the exception of their overnight (badly automated time synced) network shows), while Ted needs a "musical director"?

Have we determined whether he & John Moore packed up the Mott's studio on their visit two weeks ago?
Did they load up the company station wagon or not?
