A new technology and look at measuring listenership as you drive

There is a new radio listening measurement technology being introduced in the U.S. 

DTM can measure our listening habits while in our cars. It can give a more accurate picture of our listening habits while in transit.

To me though, I find this to be a bit intrusive. 

Big Brother is watching you, intrusive.

What is your feeling about this, is it a bit too intrusive and going a bit too far into the private lives of listeners?

Is the ad world, exchanging ethics for better results?
