Here is a broadcast career limiting move, by ESPN's Paul Pierce!

NBA analyst and baller turned broadcaster Paul Pierce has lost his position at ESPN for video of him out using the services of a few Exotic Dancers, given the climate we're in now, this may be hard to overcome as far as a career in sports media goes.

What is your take on this? Would you hire someone who had a flagrant foul off the court like this? Do you turn the other cheek and bring him in as a ratings play?

Comment away!

In the meantime here is more on the story.

I suppose when you are famous and are representing or working for a brand, one should avoid doing things on your own time that might damage or embarrass said brand. Is it possible that ESPN has a code of conduct that employees, particularly those that appear on air, must adhere to? Personally, I don't care if Mr. Pierce visits a strip joint. However, he is in the public eye and would probably be easily recognized. He had to know that some cell phone video of the evening's activities would eventually surface.

His estimated net worth is $70 million.  I don't think he's too worried about a "career limiting" video.
